Few words about how we met and our milestones on this way.
We first met as classmates at university in Prague. In our first year, we hardly knew each other and barely spoke. That changed after Alina returned from her Erasmus exchange in Croatia in February 2019. We started spending time with the same group of friends, and before long, we were texting almost every day.
By September 2020, we took the next big step and moved in together. The Covid years weren’t easy, but they brought us closer. Despite the challenges, we made unforgettable memories traveling to new places.
One of those trips, in July 2022, took us back to Croatia. On July 14th, somewhere along the beautiful coast between Split and Makarska, Tarek surprised Alina with a proposal. It was a moment we’ll cherish forever.
We weren’t in a rush to plan a wedding, but the war in Ukraine added complications to life. Finally, in the summer of 2024, we decided it was time to turn our dream into a reality. And now, here we are, ready to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you!
